My Grace & Grit
Terms & Conditions
Effective July 26, 2026
These are the terms of using My Grace & Grit. We've written them in plain language, because you shouldn't need a lawyer to understand what you're agreeing to.
1. Welcome, and what accepting these Terms means
These Terms & Conditions are the agreement between you and My Grace & Grit ("we," "us," or "the app"). By creating an account or using the app, you're agreeing to them.
If something here doesn't sit right with you, please don't use the app — and feel free to write to us at support@mygraceandgritapp.com with questions.
2. Who can use My Grace & Grit
My Grace & Grit is intended for adults age 18 and older. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 18. The service is not designed or intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from people under 18.
3. Your account
Accounts are created through Sign in with Apple. You're responsible for keeping your device and your Apple ID secure, and for the activity that happens under your account.
Please keep to one account per person, and don't share your account with someone else. If something looks wrong with your account, contact us at support@mygraceandgritapp.com.
4. What My Grace & Grit is
My Grace & Grit is a wellness companion app. It gives you a private place to log food and water, movement and workouts, medications, journal entries, weight and progress, and the small wins that don't show up on a scale. It includes Grace, an AI companion, and The Front Porch, a Community space shared with other members.
5. Wellness and educational purposes only
Everything in the app — the tracking tools, the estimates, Grace's responses, and Grace's Library — is offered for general wellness and educational purposes. It is meant to support you, not to make decisions for you or on behalf of a healthcare professional.
6. No medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
My Grace & Grit is not medical care and should never replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Please consult your healthcare provider regarding medical concerns or treatment decisions.
Using the app does not create a provider-patient relationship. We are not a healthcare provider, and we make no claims of medical-grade accuracy, clinical validation, certification, or regulatory status.
7. Estimates, not measurements
Calorie and macro targets are estimated from the information you share, using general formulas. Calorie burn figures are estimated, not measured. Nutrition information comes from third-party food databases and from product labels, and can be incomplete or out of date.
Treat all of these numbers as starting points, not prescriptions. Please check with your provider before making significant changes to how you eat, move, or manage your health.
8. Medication tracking
The medication tracker is a private personal log. It is not a prescribing tool, a dose calculator, a pharmacy record, or a medically reliable reminder system. It does not verify what you enter, and you should never rely on it as your only record or reminder.
Decisions about medications, doses, timing, and schedules always belong with your prescriber.
9. Grace and AI
Grace's responses are generated by an artificial intelligence model. AI-generated responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, even when they sound confident.
Grace is a wellness companion, not a medical professional, therapist, pharmacist, lawyer, or financial adviser, and Grace's responses should not replace qualified professional advice. Please don't use Grace to make medical, mental-health, legal, or financial decisions.
How your conversations are handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Emergencies
My Grace & Grit is not for emergencies. If you are in crisis, experiencing a medical emergency, or worried about your safety or someone else's, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line right away. Grace cannot call for help, monitor you, or respond in an emergency.
11. The Front Porch: our Community
The Front Porch is a shared space, and it works because people are kind in it. A few expectations:
Be gentle with each other. Share your own experience rather than giving medical instruction. Respect other people's privacy as carefully as your own.
Anything you post here, including photos, can be seen by other members. Please don't share personal, medical, or identifying information you'd prefer to keep private.
12. Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of the posts, comments, and photos you create. We don't claim ownership of them. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to share what you upload, and that it doesn't infringe someone else's rights or reveal someone else's private information.
13. The permission you give us
So that Community can work, you give us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable permission to host, store, format, display to other members, screen for safety (including automated screening), and moderate the content you choose to post. We don't sell your content or use it for advertising.
This permission exists only to operate the app. It ends when you delete the content or your account, except for what other members have already seen and anything we must retain for the reasons described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your content, license it to others, or use it for advertising.
14. What isn't allowed
For everyone's safety, the following are not permitted anywhere in the app:
Medication safety. Sourcing or vendor talk; buying, selling, or trading medications or peptides; discount, referral, or affiliate codes; exchanging contact details to arrange sourcing; reconstitution or mixing instructions; dosing math, titration schedules, or syringe conversions; research-chemical framing; and encouraging anyone to bypass a licensed clinician.
Community conduct. Harassment, cruelty, hateful content, spam, impersonation, sharing someone else's private or identifying information, and content that is illegal or promotes harm.
The service itself. Attempting to break, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or other members' accounts.
No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive members. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour in Community. Content that violates these rules is removed, and the member who posted it may be suspended or permanently banned from Community.
Automated checks run when you post, and some content will be blocked before it goes live. That's a safety feature, not a judgment of you.
15. Moderation, removal, suspension, and banning
Community content may be reviewed automatically and by our moderators. We may block content before it's posted, remove it afterwards, or decline to publish an image that fails safety screening.
Members can report content, and reports are reviewed by our moderation team, normally within 24 hours. Depending on what we find, we may remove the content, issue a warning, temporarily suspend an account, or permanently ban it. We use our reasonable judgment here, and we'll always err on the side of protecting members' safety.
Blocking other members. You can block any member from the menu on their post or comment. Once blocked, their posts and comments are hidden from your feed, and you can see and undo your blocks any time under Community settings.
If your access is restricted. If your Community access is suspended or removed, the app will tell you, and the rest of My Grace & Grit stays available to you. You can appeal by emailing support@mygraceandgritapp.com.
16. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, who can see it, how it's used, and how to delete it. It's part of your agreement with us, so please read it too.
17. Subscription, billing, and cancellation
My Grace & Grit is intended to launch as a paid, auto-renewing subscription at $6.99 per month with a 3-day free trial, purchased through the App Store as an Apple in-app purchase. Subscriptions are not yet available in the app, so nothing in this section is charged today.
Billing and renewal. When subscriptions become available, payment is charged to your Apple ID and the subscription renews automatically until you cancel. Billing, renewal timing, and trial conversion are handled by Apple under the App Store terms that apply to your purchase.
Cancelling. You manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings, not inside the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple, and refund requests are handled through Apple under Apple's applicable policies. We can't issue App Store refunds ourselves, but you're always welcome to write to us at support@mygraceandgritapp.com and we'll help where we can.
Your account is separate from your subscription. Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account or the information you've logged. Deleting your account is a separate, explicit action.
18. Deleting your account, and ending access
You can permanently delete your account at any time from the bottom of your Profile page. Deletion removes your stored photos, your Community posts, comments and reactions, and the wellness information saved under your account, and then deletes the account itself. It cannot be undone.
We may suspend or end access to the app if these Terms are violated or if it's necessary to protect members' safety or the service. Remember that deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription — please cancel that in your Apple ID settings.
19. Our intellectual property
The app itself — the My Grace & Grit name, Grace, the artwork and illustrations, the written guidance, Grace's Library, and the software behind it all — belongs to My Grace & Grit. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own wellness. Please don't copy, resell, redistribute, scrape, or reverse-engineer any part of it.
20. Third-party services and information
The app relies on outside services to work, including Lovable Cloud for hosting and storage, the Lovable AI Gateway and Google Gemini for Grace's responses and image safety screening, USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts for food and barcode information, and Apple for sign-in and purchases. We don't control these services, and information they provide may be incomplete or inaccurate.
21. Availability and changes to the app
We may add, change, pause, or discontinue features as the app grows. We can't promise the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors, and occasionally maintenance or an outside provider will cause downtime.
22. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we don't make warranties about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of the app or anything in it. Nothing in this section removes rights or warranties that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you.
23. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, My Grace & Grit is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, including decisions made in reliance on estimates, Grace's responses, or content posted by other members. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under consumer protection rights you cannot waive.
24. Indemnification
If a claim is brought against us because of content you posted or because you used the app in violation of these Terms or of the law, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages that result. This is limited to those situations.
25. Changes to these Terms
If these Terms change, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page, and we'll surface meaningful changes in the app. Continuing to use My Grace & Grit after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
